On Monday 19 October 2026, Business Law BINUS welcomed Jason Smith and Monique Lu from Wisconsin Law School for an engaging visit focused on exploring possibilities for international academic partnerships. Representatives of BINUS University included Mr. George Wijaya Hadipoespito of Yayasan Bina Nusantara (a Wisconsin University alumnus), Mr. Satrio Nugroho of BINUS Global, Mr. Shidarta of Law graduate Program and Mr. Besar and Mr. Stijn van Huis of the Law undergraduate study program.

During the meeting potential avenues for international collaboration were discussed, with a particular focus on student mobility programs. Wisconsin Law School presented its LL.M. program for foreign visiting students, which can be an attractive option for Business Law students during their enrichment period.

Following the meeting, Jason and Monique hosted a special presentation for BINUS Business Law students, providing insights into studying law in the United States and highlighting the dynamic academic life and opportunities available at Wisconsin University.
