KUNJUNGAN ILSA FH UPN VETERAN JAKARTA KE BINUS

Pada tanggal 12 Mei 2022, mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran Jakarta yang bergabung dalam International Law Student Assosiation (ILSA) di fakultas tersebut berkunjung ke Kampus Kijang BINUS. Para mahasiswa didampingi oleh dosen FH UPN Veteran Dr. Aurora Jillena Meliala. Maksud kunjungan ini adalah untuk mengadakan diskusi dan saling belajar dengan ILSA Business Law BINUS (BILSA). Tampak hadir dari BILSA adalah Pembina BILSA Dr. Reza Zaki dan mantan Ketua BILSA Kyle Pietra Inggil beserta para anggota BILSA lainnya. Saat ini BILSA diketuai oleh Audrey Adani. Sejumlah dosen yang ikut hadir menyambut rombongan ini adalah Dr. Ahmad Sofian, Dr. Besar, Dr. Bambang Pratama, Abdul Rasyid, Ph.D. Erni Herawati, dan Shidarta.

After a whole pandemic situation, we barely could interact with other universities in person (offline). Yesterday (05/12/2022), we are finally able to meet with new friends from the Faculty of Law, UPN Veteran Jakarta. UPNV Jakarta was accompanied by a lecturer, Mrs. Aurora Jillena Meliala, while ILSA BINUS accompanied by a lecturer, Mr. Muhammad Reza Syariffudin Zaki or Reza Zaki. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss and exchange our thoughts and experience in establishing an International Law Student Association (ILSA), since UPNVJ Law Students are currently forming their own ILSA. We discussed about the developments of ILSA, procedures for association, and importantly our ILSA work programs. The discussion runs for 4 hours and it doesn’t feel like a long time because all of the attendants enjoyed it, it runs informally so that all participants present could bond with each other and build relationships while discussing. The discussion itself was being held with sort of like a QNA method so the ILSA BINUS gets an inquiries from the UPNVJ and we required to answer the best we can. We could take a conclusion that the discussion went very well and we could proudly say that the formation of ILSA UPNVJ is good enough and ready to step up their games. Because the event was a success in developing ILSA BINUS itself by exchanging ideas and helping UPNVJ to build their association, we hope that the good relations between these associations will always be in a good terms. Besides that, we also believe that ILSA UPNVJ will be a great opportunities for their own students to explore the international law and we wish everything that is the best for them.
